Teri was born in Los Angeles, California, moved to Pennsylvania when she was 8 years old and then journeyed to Colorado in the Fall of 1978. After majoring in Small Business
Management in college, Teri became a breast pump distributor for Medela, Inc. which she continued for 14 years while raising her four daughters.
Teri has always been interested in alternative health care. She was introduced to the idea of colon hydrotherapy through a Chiropractor in 1999. Within months she started to receive colonics for herself and during and after the series of colonics began to feel more energy and balanced emotions.
The value of colon therapy for restoring digestive health, helping reduce the toxic overload in the body, and overall improvement of the immune system became very apparent. Since colonics had proved so beneficial to her health, a passion began to grow in her heart to pursue colon therapy as a business.
After receiving certification in 2001 as a Colonic Hygiene Technician from Colon Therapeutics Research Institute in TX, Teri joined I-ACT (International Association for Colon Therapy) and completed their requirements as well for certification. Teri also acquired colon therapy certification from the NBCHT (National Board for Colon HydroTherapy). She continues her membership with I-ACT as well as attending conventions for continued training and education.
Teri has been administering colon hydrotherapy for over 15 years in Loveland, Colorado. She moved to Ooltewah, Tennessee in December 2016 taking a short break from the colonic business while getting settled in to her new life in Tennessee. A new business is born, from Colorado Colonics to Tennessee Colonics. There was much work to be done. First the plumbing was completed and the device was installed and working. Next the doors and frame were painted and installed on the colonic room. In September 2017 she started advertising in The Natural Awakening magazine, The Village Market bulletin board, and distributed cards to holistic doctors, health food stores, and vegetarian cafes, etc. In January 2018
Tennessee Colonics was officially up and running and Teri was excited once again to be helping new clients with their colonic procedure. Teri is also providing Colon Hydrotherapy in Chattanooga surrounding area and Cleveland, TN.
She purchased a brand new Libbe gravity fed device in February 2017. The Libbe open system is a comfortable device. What I like most about the Libbe device is that it is designed so that the client can insert their own rectal nozzle, the client can be left alone if they want privacy, and you can urinate while having a colonic. On other colonic devices that are a closed system/device, you can not have those options. It is also illegal for a colon hydrotherapist to insert a rectal nozzle or speculum in a client, including children.
Colonics have proved beneficial in treating many health problems including chronic constipation, skin problems, obesity, liver issues, (congested liver hormone imbalances), hepatitis, absence of gallbladder, lymes disease, candidiasis, MS, heavy metals, diabetes, sluggish lymphatic system, and weaning from drug addictions. Teri loves her work and feels blessed to be used by God to help people restore and regain their health. It is a calling the Lord has placed on her life and it would be her pleasure serving you if you decide to give colon hydrotherapy a try.
